First and foremost I would like to thank everyone who's thought of me on my 25th birthday today. I have received numerous texts, emails, comments on facebook, myspace, studivz, cards, and phone calls from family and friends all over the world wishing me the most wonderful things for my life. I am so happy to have you all in my life and feel truly blessed to know you.
Looking back, I can't believe how "WOW" this past year has been for me. I feel like I have accomplished tremendous stepping stones this year, professionally, academically, personally, and mentally. I've had my first job, moved into my first own apartment, graduated with my bachelor and started my masters, lost the most valuable person in my life, found an awesome man, and finally began to understood what it means to be a responsible, giving, and loving adult. I have found a more meaningful purpose in my life, which I will begin to explore more early next year when I will travel to Haiti for one week and try to make poor people's life at least a little better. I already volunteered a couple times this year and finally understand how important it is to think about other people and appreciate the luxury we all live in a little more.
I want to thank you all for being here for me, for supporting me and being here for me when I needed you the most. I can only hope to give as much back to you as you have all given to me.
